Starting a chat conversation

Before starting a chat conversation, you should have already performed the steps from the Configuring the BMC Remedy AR System server to work with the chat server section.

To start a chat conversation

  1. Click the Chat icon to open the Start Conversation window.

  2. Select the required users from the Friends list and click the Start Conversation icon.
  3. On the Conference window, type in the message to start chatting.

  4. (Optional) Click the Invite Users icon on the Conference window to invite more users to an existing chat conversation.
