Twitter Alert Notification plug-in configuration

The Twitter Alert Notification plug-in provides a way to send an alert notification or a "tweet" to a valid Twitter account.

permits you to send an alert notification to a valid Twitter account that is registered with a given  user. If the user has already registered with a valid Twitter Access Key and Token Secret and has set up Twitter as part of their alert notifications, this plug-in helps send a tweet to the registered Twitter account when an Alert Notify action in a filter is called.

The following  components are important in sending alert notifications:

  • AR System Alert Delivery Registration form—Ensure that this form contains an entry for Twitter with the plug-in name ARSYS.ALRT.TWITTER.
  • AR System Alert Twitter User Authorization form—Use this form to map a  user to a valid Twitter account. For more information about the registration process, see Twitter-User-Registration-plug-in-configuration.
  • An AR Filter with Notify action to this  user invokes this plug-in to send a tweet.
