Wait time for tooltip display

The wait time for detecting a HOVER event can be configured in two ways – by editing the config.properties file of BMC Remedy Mid Tier, or by specifying a wait time in the AR System User Preference form.

The HOVER event specifies the wait time in milliseconds from when you hover your mouse over the text and the tooltip is displayed.

Editing the config.properties file

In the config.properties file, add a line that specifies the wait time in milliseconds, for example:

arsystem.hover_wait_time = 1500

where 1500 is 1500 milliseconds.

Specifying the wait time in the AR System User Preference form

In the AR System User Preference Form (General tab), set a hover wait time (in milliseconds).
