Creating an incident entry

Use the /entry/{formName} URL to create an incident entry on a form. Perform the following steps to create an entry:

  1. Open the Postman - REST Client.
  2. Create a token. 
  3. Set the Request URL as 
    http://<server_name>:<port>/api/arsys/v1/entry/HPD:IncidentInterface_Create
    ?fields=values(Incident Number)  
  4. Select the operation as POST.
  5. Click Headers.
  6. Enter the following data as key value pair in the header:

    AuthorizationAR-JWT <token generated>
    Content-Typeapplication/json
  7. Select raw.
  8. From the list, select JSON.
  9. Enter the JSON input for creating an entry:

  10. Click Send to send the request.
  11. Click Headers in response.
  12. The plug-in returns a URL in the Location section for the newly created entry.
