Before running AR System Log Analyzer, ensure that you have performed the following tasks:

To run AR System Log Analyzer

  1. Open a command prompt window.
  2. Navigate to the location of the log files.
  3. Run AR System Log Analyzer, using the following parameters:
    • -i to invert grouping

    • -sMAX to report output in descending maximum execution time
    • -w to specify web format

    • <inputFileName>, which was generated by arpreparelogs

The output directory is created and includes several HTML files.

If an error occurs with AR System Log Analyzer, perform the following steps:

  1. Verify arpreparelogs.exe was run to generate the input log file.
  2. Verify that the name of the input log file was spelled correctly and is available in the directory.
  3. Verify that the output directory contains sufficient space — at least twice the size of the input log file.
