Opening Approval Central

This section describes the different ways to open Approval Central.

To open Approval Central from the BMC Remedy AR System home page

If you have configured BMC Remedy Approval Server, the BMC Remedy AR System home page form will contain an Approval Central link. Click this link to open Approval Central.

To open Approval Central in a browser

1. Launch your browser and enter a URL as follows: http://<hostName>/arsys/forms/<serverName>/Approval Central
   where hostName is the name of the web server where BMC Remedy Mid Tier is running, and serverName is the name of the BMC Remedy AR System server where BMC Remedy Approval Server is running.
   Ask your BMC Remedy AR System administrator for the exact URL.
2. In the BMC Remedy Mid Tier login window, enter your user name and password, along with an authentication string if necessary, and click Log In.
   You can use a similar procedure to access any other BMC Remedy Approval Server forms, such as the AP:Administration form.
