About the wild animal park

For many years, the wild animal park grew successfully with paper-based record keeping combined with isolated computer-based procedures. Recently, however, employees noticed a number of redundant or inefficient processes, so the park staff decided to use BMC Remedy AR System to automate the following processes:

  • Tracking and managing animals associated with the park
  • Tracking and managing public relations, such as attendance statistics, public inquiries, membership renewals, and group tour information
  • Tracking and managing the maintenance of on-site visitor facilities, including snack bars, restrooms, first-aid stations, and park transit systems
  • Managing the botanical gardens adjacent to the park

This section focuses on the first application, managing and tracking animals.
