Time parameters

The following table describes time-related parameters for flashboards that display trends (history and summary charts).

customTimeFormat

Customized time format:

  • Y — Year. If the number of pattern letters is two, the year is truncated to two digits; otherwise, it appears as four digits. The year can also be zero-padded. For example: Y = 05 YYYY = 2005
  • M — Month in a year (localized). If the number of pattern letters is one, the format is interpreted as numeric in one or two digits. If the number of pattern letters is two, the format is interpreted as numeric in two digits. If the number of pattern letters is three, the format is interpreted as short text. If the number of pattern letters is four, the format is interpreted as full text. For example: M = 7 MM= 07 MMM=Jul MMMM= July
  • D — Day in a month. A single-letter or two-letter pattern string. For example: D=4 DD=04 DD=10
  • E — Day in a week (localized). If the number of pattern letters is one, the format is interpreted as numeric in one or two digits; If the number of pattern letters is two, the format is interpreted as numeric in two digits; If the number of pattern letters is three, the format is interpreted as short text; If the number of pattern letters is four, the format is interpreted as full text.   • A — a.m./p.m. indicator
  • J — Hour in a day (0 - 23)
  • H — Hour in a day (1 - 24)
  • K — Hour in a.m./p.m. (0 - 11)
  • L — Hour in a.m./p.m. (1 - 12)
  • N — Minute in an hour. For example: N = 3 NN = 03
  • S — Second in a minute. For example: SS = 30
  • Q — Quarter of a year. For example: QQ = 78 QQQ = 078
  • W — Week number of the year. For example: WW= 31

To format the pattern string, you can add text to the string. You can also use punctuation, numbers, and all lowercase letters. For example:EEEE, MMM. D, YYYY at L:NN A = Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2005 at 1:26 PM

Note

Do not use uppercase letters because they might be interpreted as pattern letters.

timeFormat

Browser time format:

  • 0 — Date and time is displayed.
  • 1 — Time is displayed.
  • 2 — Date is displayed.

Value indicating the interval to display if the X axis displays time:

  • 0 — All dates
  • 1 — Custom (specify the start and end dates)
  • 2 — Today
  • 3 — Yesterday
  • 4 — This Month
  • 5 — Last Month
  • 6 — Year to Date
  • 7 — Last Year
  • 8 — Last Week
  • 9 — This Week
  • 10 — Next Week
  • 11 — Next Month
  • 12 — Last Year by Month
  • 13 — Last Year by Quarter
  • 14 — This Year by Month
  • 15 — This Year by Quarter
  • 16 — Next Year by Month
  • 17 — Next Year by Quarter
