SHIFT verb

The input to the summary, pool, and volume reports can be controlled by using the SHIFT verb.

It permits you to define what a day, week, or month consists of, thereby providing the ability to report on weekends only, weekdays only, and so on. The SHIFT verb is ignored by the data set utility reports, but it remains in effect for all other reports until the next SHIFT verb is encountered.
