Distributed alarms


The following procedure describes making alarms active with change values.

To activate distributed alarms

  1. To add an alarm for monitoring, in Target mode, type ALRMDIST on the COMMAND line, and press Enter.The ALRMDST view is displayed, as shown below:

  2. Type Add in the CMD field next to the Alarm Name that you want to monitor, and press Enter.
  3. Press F3 until you reach the Selection Menu as shown below:

  6. Select an option from the Alarm Definition Lists, or invoke the AMD view to display the configured alarms, as shown below:

  7. Review the configured alarm and modify as required for your installation and then Activate the alarm by using the ACT line command.
