Verifying Atrium Integrator installation
This topic provides instructions for verifying Atrium Integrator installation.
To verify Atrium Integrator installation
- From the AR System Administration Console, open the SHARE:Application_Properties form.
- Search for a property with the value of
BMC Atrium Integrator
. Make sure that the version associated with this property is
8.1.00
.Note
If you upgraded from version 7.6.04 to 8.1, there should be only one property with the name BMC Atrium Integrator.
- From your Temp folder, open the atriumintegrator_Install_log.txt file and search for issues related to installation. If the installation of Atrium Integrator is successful, the following message is saved to the log file:
BMC Atrium Integrator 8.1.00 install succeeded.
- From the data-integration directory residing at C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\diserver, make sure that all the files contained in the ngie and NGIE-Sample folders are deployed.
Verify if the following files are present in the bin folder: - Login to the Atrium Integrator console and verify if all the sample jobs are populated in the jobs list.
Comments
The form name specified in step one is incorrect. The correct form name is SHARE:Application_Properties.
I've updated the form name. Thanks for commenting.
What does it mean "make sure all file are deployed". How do you deploy them?
Thank you.
Hi Marjyo,
Thanks for the comment. I have updated the information.

Probably the instruction should be updated. For example
BMC Atrium Integration Engine
is the correct Property Value to search. Moreover all files to search for are not present but installation log it perfect. Obviously I don't know if it is only my case.Hi Vincenzo,
Thanks for your comment.
BMC Atrium Integration Engine is the value for AIE.
After you install AI (BMC Atrium Integrator), you will see the documented value.
Please note, AIE is now replaced by AI.

Hemant
Hi Hermant,
you are right. Is it a problem that I installed AIE instead of AI?
In any case is it possible to uninstall it and put the right one? If not can they co-exist.
Thanks
Hi Vincenzo,
You can install AI with AIE. No need to uninstall AIE. However, if you have data exchanges created using AIE, you need to migrate them as jobs for AI.

Is ngie and NGIE-Sample folders located directly under C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\diserver\? I need to make sure because in my case, I can open AI from Atrium Console, but didn't see AI in SHARE:Application_Properties form.
