Event Channel configuration settings
The Event Channel section contains the configurations for the Event Channel plug-in logs that can be used for troubleshooting. These settings are applicable only if the Event channel is enabled in the CMDB Engine settings.
The Event Channels component enables applications to subscribe to and receive events using the BMC CMDB Java API. Events are generated when CIs and relationships are created, updated, or deleted in your production dataset, which defaults to BMC Asset. This means your application is notified of changes to your CMDB in near real time instead of it having to poll for changes periodically.
If you are in a server group environment, select the required Remedy AR System server from the Select Server drop-down list. If you have a stand-alone environment, the required server name is automatically displayed.
