License entitlements

This page lists the license entitlements for the TrueSight Orchestrator content based on your specific product license as detailed below:

BMC Helix Cloud Operations – ITSM Automation Pack

This solution may only be used in combination with the following BMC Subscription Services: BMC Helix Cloud Cost and BMC Helix Cloud Security. Includes use of the ITSM Automation runbook only. In addition, the license entitlement includes restricted use product components to be used only in conjunction with the entitled aforementioned runbook: use of additional peer licenses, base adapters,  and non-BMC application adapters, and unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. This solution package is licensed per managed asset – cloud resource.

TrueSight Orchestration – Adapters License Add-on

Includes license rights to use one base adapter or one non-BMC third party application adapter for every unit licensed. If applicable, the license entitlement includes the use of both actor and monitor components. If necessary, Light Weight Activity Peers (LAPs) can be deployed in conjunction with licensed adapters as required. Once licensed, the same adapter can be used to support multiple workflows and/or across multiple orchestration grids including use in non-production environments. Adapters are licensed per adapter.

TrueSight Orchestration Application Adapters

Includes license rights to use one non-BMC third party application adapter for every unit licensed. If applicable, the license entitlement includes the use of both actor and monitor components. Once licensed, the same adapter can be used to support multiple workflows and/or across multiple orchestration grids including use in non-production environments. Adapters are licensed per adapter. 

TrueSight Orchestration – Automation Pack (Device Endpoint)

Includes use of the Continuous Compliance for Network Automation runbook only. In addition, the license entitlement includes restricted use product components to be used only in conjunction with the entitled aforementioned runbook: use of additional peer licenses, base adapters, and non-BMC application adapters, and unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. This solution package is licensed per managed asset – device endpoint.

TrueSight Orchestration – Automation Pack (Server Endpoint) 

Includes use of the Continuous Compliance for Server Automation runbook only. In addition, the license entitlement includes restricted use product components to be used only in conjunction with the entitled aforementioned runbook: use of additional peer licenses, base adapters, and non-BMC application adapters, and unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. This solution package is licensed per managed asset – server endpoint.

TrueSight Orchestration Base Adapters

Includes license rights to use one base adapter for every unit licensed. If applicable, the license entitlement includes the use of both actor and monitor components. Once licensed, the same adapter can be used to support multiple workflows and/or across multiple orchestration grids including use in non-production environments. Adapters are licensed per adapter. 

TrueSight Orchestration – Development Pack License Add-on

Includes license rights to use all generally available base adapters. If applicable, the license entitlement includes the use of both actor and monitor components. If necessary, Light Weight Activity Peers (LAPs) can be deployed in conjunction with licensed adapters as required. Once licensed any base adapter can be used to support multiple workflows and/or across multiple orchestration grids including use in non-production environments. In addition, this license package includes unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. The Development Pack is licensed per enterprise. 

TrueSight Orchestration – Event Orchestration Pack

Includes use of the Event Orchestration runbook only. In addition, the license entitlement includes restricted use product components to be used only in conjunction with the entitled aforementioned runbook: use of additional peer licenses, base adapters, and non-BMC application adapters, and unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. This solution package is licensed per managed asset – server endpoint.

TrueSight Orchestration – Service Desk Automation Pack User License Add-on

Includes use of the Service Desk Automation runbook only. In addition, the license entitlement includes restricted use product components to be used only in conjunction with the entitled aforementioned runbook: use of additional peer licenses, base adapters, and non-BMC application adapters, and unlimited user licenses for Development Studio and Operator Control Panel. This solution package is licensed per named user.
