Configuring the adapters

Using Grid Manager, start adding the required adapters to the grid, and then update their configurations to match your environment.

To add the adapter to the grid

1. Log on to Grid Manager with administrative privileges.
2. Select Manage > Adapters.
3. From the Adapters in Repository section, select the adapters required for the modules with which you want to work:

   Change Management	BMC Remedy Action Request System or HP ServiceCenter adapter	For environments that use BMC Remedy ITSM, select ro-adapter-remedy-actor. For environments that use HP ServiceCenter, select ro-adapter-hp-servicecenter-actor.
   Configuration Management	BMC Remedy Action Request System adapter or HP ServiceCenter adapter BMC Atrium CMDB adapter	For environments that use BMC Remedy ITSM, select ro-adapter-remedy-actor. For environments that use HP ServiceCenter, select ro-adapter-hp-servicecenter-actor. The BMC Atrium CMDB adapter provides an interface for TrueSight Orchestration to manage updates to the configuration management database.
   Credentials Store	SSH adapter Windows Command Line adapter Command Line adapter Telnet adapter SQL adapter	These base adapters extract and store credential information.
   Event Management	BMC Event Manager adapter or HP Network Node Manager adapter or IBM Netcool Omnibus adapter	The BMC Event Manager monitor adapter enables TrueSight Orchestration to listen for and capture events coming from BMC Event Manager. The BMC Event Manager actor adapter provides an interface for TrueSight Orchestration to manage events.
   Incident Management	BMC Remedy Action Request System adapter or HP ServiceCenter adapter	For environments that use BMC Remedy ITSM, select ro-adapter-remedy-actor. For environments that use HP ServiceCenter, select ro-adapter-hp-servicecenter-actor.
   Problem Management	BMC Remedy Action Request System adapter	The BMC Remedy adapter enables TrueSight Orchestration to listen for and capture events coming from BMC Remedy ITSM.
   Storage Management	NetApp Storage adapter	The NetApp Storage adapter provides an interface for TrueSight Orchestration to manage storage.
   Task Management	BMC Remedy Action Request System adapter or HP ServiceCenter adapter	For environments that use BMC Remedy ITSM, select ro-adapter-remedy-actor. For environments that use HP ServiceCenter, select ro-adapter-hp-servicecenter-actor.
   Virtual Server Management	VMware Infrastructure adapter BMC Server Automation adapter	The VMware Infrastructure adapter enables TrueSight Orchestration to manage virtualized environments. The BMC Server Automation adapter enables TrueSight Orchestration to provision and manage virtual servers.
   Work Order Management	BMC Remedy AR System adapter	The BMC Remedy AR System adapter enables the creation of Work Orders in the BMC Remedy AR system

4. Click Add to Grid.
