Installing TrueSight Orchestration Platform with Remedy Single Sign-On high availability clusters
To install and configure TrueSight Orchestration Platform with Remedy Single Sign-On high-availability clusters, you must first install and set up the Remedy Single Sign-On high-availability clusters.
In a high availability environment, multiple instances of the Remedy Single Sign-On web application are deployed and form a cluster. Usually a load balancer is used as a front end to the cluster, giving the external applications the appearance of a single server.
For more information about using Remedy Single Sign-On in a high availability environment, see the following information:
The following table provides an overview of the tasks required to set up TrueSight Orchestration Platform with a Remedy Single Sign-On cluster with more than one node.
No. | Task | |
---|---|---|
1. | Install the first node for BMC Remedy Single Sign-On in an HA environment Use the section called Installing Remedy Single Sign-On in an HA environment. | |
2. | Install the additional node in a BMC Remedy Single Sign-On cluster Use the section called Installing Remedy Single Sign-On in an HA environment. | |
3. | Install the load balancer server. A load balancer server communicates between TrueSight Orchestration Platform and the Remedy Single Sign-On cluster. | |
3.1 | Install OpenSSL certificates on the load balancer server. Create a truststore file by combining the Remedy Single Sign-On node certificates. | |
3.2 | Configure listening ports on the load balancer and add HTTP and HTTPS virtual hosts. | |
3.3 | Add balancer members configuration. | |
3.4 | Enable load balancer and Remedy Single Sign-On modules. | |
