Documentation update

To provide a better user experience, we have now created a separate documentation space for BMC Helix Automation Console (previously called BMC Helix Vulnerability Management).
Users of BMC Helix Automation Console can find the latest documentation at BMC Helix Automation Console. Open link .

Security groups

Security groups contain users that inherit a set of permissions based on a role defined in the endpoint managers supported by the application.

TrueSight Automation Console supports TrueSight Server Automation and TrueSight Network Automation as endpoint managers.

Security groups in Automation Console must map exactly to the TrueSight Server Automation and TrueSight Network Automation roles.

When you add a security group in any endpoint manager, all users assigned to that role in can log on to the Automation Console

Users belonging to roles with administrative permissions can access all Automation Console tabs. All other users can access all pages except the Administration page. For example, users belonging to the BLAdmins role in Server Automation can access and perform all tasks in Automation Console.

Where to go from here

To add or edit security groups, see Working with security groups.
