Command line options for configuring the BMC Server Automation integration

To set up and configure the integration with BMC Server Automation, you can use the following command line options from the <TrueSight Presentation Server installation directory>\truesightpserver\bin folder:

Important

Before running the command: 

  1. Open the BMC Server Automation Server console and delete the Patrol folder from the following locations:
    • File > Folders > Bladelogic > Component Templates > BMC > Proactivenet
    • File > Folders > Bladelogic > Depot > Packages > BMC > Proactivenet
    • File > Folders > Bladelogic > Depot > Software > BMC > Proactivenet
  2. In the Bladelogic Server Automation console, go to the Configuration Pane. From the Config Object Dictionaries view, delete the entries of TrueSight Presentation Server objects.
  3. Run the following commands:
    1. blcred cred -acquire -profile <BMC Server Automation Server Login Profile> -username <BMC Server Automation Server Username> -password <BMC Server Automation Server Password>
    2. blcli -v <BMC Server Automation Server Login Profile> -m subshell
    3. Delete cleanupDatabase
    4. Delete cleanupFileServer
To get package statusblade.bat get_package_status./blade.sh get_package_status
To check the connection detailsblade.bat get_setup./blade.sh get_setup
to test the connectionblade.bat test./blade.sh test
