Host page in the Hyper-V Data Explorer view

The Host page in the Hyper-V Data Explorer view provides the charts for CPU profile and memory profile for the selected Hyper-V Host. You can configure the time filter and other page level filters according to your requirements. For more details, see Using filtering options in views on the TrueSight Console. The Host tab under Hyper-V > Data Explorer is split into the following views:

CPU Profile

The following charts are displayed under Hyper-V > Data Explorer > Host > CPU Profile:

Chart title Associated metrics
Physical & Virtual CPU Utilization
  • Host: CPU_UTIL
  • Average Virtual CPU_UTIL: SUM (Partition CPU_UTIL) / HOST GM_ON_NUM
Virtual Processors Configured - Top 10 PartitionsFor each Partition: CPU_NUM
Processors Configured & vCPU Density
  • Total Virtual Processors: SUM (Partition CPU_NUM)
  • Host: CPU_NUM
  • vCPU Density: SUM (Partition CPU_NUM) / Host CPU_NUM
Virtual CPU Utilization - Top 10 PartitionsFor each Partition: CPU_UTIL > Top 10
Physical CPU Utilization - Top 10 Partition, Other
  • For each Partition Physical CPU Utilization: Top 10 + Other (Partition.CPU_UTIL x Partition. CPU_NUM) / Host.CPU_NUM
  • Host: CPU_UTIL
