Capacity-Aware Placement Advice
The Capacity-Aware Placement Advice (CAPA) service in TrueSight Capacity Optimization provides real-time recommendations for placement of new workloads on your cloud when provisioning it with BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management. These recommendations are based on available and forecasted capacity.
The service ensures provisioning success by checking capacity availability of Virtual hosts and Virtual clusters. It also performs virtual compute pool placement, and optimizes data centers over many provisioning requests.
The CAPA service is supported with the VMware vSphere platform only.

Working with and using CAPA
