Uninstalling the WebSphere Message Broker monitoring extension
If you are reinstalling or upgrading and want to keep your existing configuration settings, create a backup copy of your existing eaa.xml file.
Check that the monitoring extension is not running as follows:
On Windows enter: bin\qpwmb --status
On UNIX and z/OS enter: ./bin/qpwmb.sh --status
If it is running, stop the monitoring extension as follows:
For Windows, enter: bin\qpwmb --stop
For UNIX and z/OS, enter: ./bin/qpwmb.sh --stop
Windows only: to remove the monitoring extension installed as a System Service, enter: bin\qpwmb --remove
Delete the sub-directory of the <Agent_Install> containing the extension.
