[Management_Console]

The Management_Console section in services.cfg refers to settings that are applicable to the TMTM Monitor Console.

Parameter

Description

dashboard_max_logical_objects

Default: 250

Defines the maximum number of logical objects that can be added to a single dashboard configuration. This setting can be lowered if memory usage is a concern for large dashboard configurations.

If you increase the value of this property, you might have to increase the Java memory settings for the application service and/or client JVMs. Contact BMC Customer Support for further details on changing these memory settings.

db_mode

Default: client. Defines the mode in which the Monitor Console is opened. Client should be used.

subscriber_wants_stable_attributes_from_own_db

Default: false.

A value of true indicates that the initial subscribe to a stable attribute (ex. when you open a view) is to be retrieved via the local DB connection for "possibly" faster retrieval.

A value of false indicates that the stable attributes come from the TS just like volatile attributes.

max_kpi_auto_selected_objects

Default: 1000

Specifies the maximum number of objects included in the BTM KPI trend table when the KPI type specifies the objects should be auto-selected.

Must be larger than query_objects_result_set_size.

node_info_update_time_ms

Default: 30000 ms (30 seconds)

Minimum: 5000 ms

How often the currently displayed object in the Object Repository tab has its information refreshed.

query_objects_result_set_size

Default: 1000

trend_table_history_data_resolution_secs

Default: 10 (seconds)

Minimum: 1 (second)
