Instrumenting the application

To use the BTM API for Java and TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor

  1. Deploy the development toolkit and use the API to instrument your application to make the necessary calls. See Deploying-the-development-toolkit.
  2. Add btmapi.jar to your application and compile.
  3. Create your transaction pathway in the Monitor Console.
