Display Filters

Use the display filters tab to create often used pre-defined filters that can be specified when viewing transactions on the operations tab in either the live or historical transaction tables. An ad-hoc filter can be created entirely or by beginning with a pre-defined filter during operations.

Name

Description

Name

Name of the display filter.

Attribute

The transaction property value on which to filter. You can filter on:

  • Transaction Elapsed Time
  • Transaction Status
  • Alias Identifiers if aliasing is enabled.
  • Transaction Payload Data
  • Transaction ID

Operator

The operators available differ based on the attribute selected:

  • Transaction Elapsed Time - the numerical operators =, >, <, >=, <= , and != are available.
  • Transaction Status - the status can be compared using equals and not equals.
  • Transaction ID/Alias ID - the identifier can be compared as a number using =, >, <, >=, <= , and != or textually using equals, not equals, greater than, less than, greater than or equals, less than or equals, or regular expression.
  • Transaction Payload Data -, this operator applies to the name of the payload so the textual operators equals, not equals, greater than, less than, greater than or equals, less than or equals can be used.

Value

The value of the transaction property. This is applicable for the following:

  • Transaction Elapsed Time – a number in milliseconds.
  • Transaction Status – one of the following pre-defined values: Success, Pending.
  • Alias ID – an identifier for comparison.
  • Transaction Payload Data – the name of the payload that has its label and value evaluated.
  • Transaction ID – an identifier for comparison.

Data Label Operator

The transaction payload label can be compared as a number using =, >, <, >=, <=, and != or textually using equals, not equals, greater than, less than, greater than or equals, less than or equals or regular expression.

Data Label Value

An identifier for comparison..

Data Value Operator

The transaction payload value can be compared as a number using =, >, <, >=, <=, and != or textually using equals, not equals, greater than, less than, greater than or equals, less than or equals, or regular expression.

An identifier for comparison.

Conjunction

"And" and "or" have equal precedence and the evaluation is from the top to the bottom ANDing and ORing the result of the current row with the result so far.
