Configuring the Application Diagnostics Agent Policy

Configuration of the integration tag header in the Application Diagnostics Agent policy is required.

1. In your browser, go to *https://apm-console/console/login.jsf* where apm-console is the hostname of the APM console and log in with an administratively authorized ID.
2. Select the Diagnostics tab.
3. Choose Administration > Agent Policies.
4. Select the policy that is applied to the appropriate Application Diagnostics Agent and click Save As to make a copy of it.
5. Enter a new name for your integrated policy. Scroll down in the policy text until you find the integration.tag.header.name= entry and set the value of the property to the name of the TMTM UUID HTTP header, X-MQSOFTWARE-UUID. Then click Save.
6. For your new Policy, select Apply To Agents.
7. Select the boxes next to each of the appropriate Application Diagnostics Agents and then click Apply.
8. You should see that your integration policy is now applied to the agents.
