BMC Event and Impact Management Integration architecture

The TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor integration for BMC Event and Impact Management works with the BEM action on the Events tab in the TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor Management Console. The BEM action forwards event information into a BMC Impact Manager Cell. The high-level solution architecture is shown in the figure below.

The integration adds event definitions to the BMC Event and Impact Management Knowledge Base to allow the BMC Event and Impact Management operator to receive events about IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, and TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor BTM SLA monitoring events. Additional events can be supported with end-user customization as described elsewhere in this space.
