Using the Active Node view

The Active Node view provides information about an object that is currently selected in the Folders view. When you select a server or job, the Active Node view can automatically show information for the object; you do not have to browse the server or show job results. This allows you to quickly display information when moving from one object to another.

  1. In the Servers or Jobs folder, right-click a server or job and select Active Node view.
The Active Node view opens. By default, the view appears in the lower right corner. For servers, the view shows live-browse information. For jobs, the view shows job results.
  2. Select another server or job.
The Active Node view shows information about the object you select.
If you select items other than a server or job, the Active Node view says "No data supported."
