Version 8.8.00.002: Patch 2 for version 8.8
This topic contains information about fixes and updates in Patch 2 (product version 8.8.00.002), and provides instructions for downloading and installing the patch.
Patch 2 for BMC Server Automation 8.8.00 includes the following updates:
|Support for Content Delivery Network (CDN) channels for Red Hat Patching|
You can now download patches from the CDN (reposync) Red Hat network. The following table lists the OS version-Architecture combination of patches that are supported by the CDN (reposync) Red Hat network.
Note: You can also use the CDN (reposync) Red Hat network to add Update-level type of filter for all RHEL versions.

Patch 2 for version 8.8.00 includes full installers for all components. You can download the files for version 8.8.00.002 from the BMC Server Automation 8.8.00 download page at the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website.

Before you proceed with the installation or upgrade to this patch, note that you cannot upgrade to 8.9.00 or 8.9.01 from 8.8 Patch 2. However, you will be able to upgrade to version 8.9.02 after it is released. Installing the patch as a fresh product installation
If you are installing this patch as a fresh product installation, do one of the following:
- To use a centralized UI for installation of most BMC Server Automation components, see Installing using the unified product installer.

Upgrading to the patch
You can upgrade to this patch from product versions 8.6.x, 8.7.x, 8.8.00, and 8.8.00.001.
