Modifying the Virtual Guest Job

You can modify an existing Virtual Guest Job should you need to change any of the job properties. You can modify Virtual Guest Jobs that were created for VMware, Solaris, IBM, Citrix XenServer, Red Hat, and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for VMware

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for Solaris

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for IBM

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for RHEV

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for Citrix XenServer

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.

To modify the Virtual Guest Job for Microsoft Hyper-V

  1. Open the Jobs folder and navigate to a Job folder.
  2. Right-click the Job folder and select Open from the pop-up menu.
  3. In the content editor, navigate to any of the following tabs and review or edit the settings:
  4. Close the Job, and click OK to save your revisions.
