Assumptions and prerequisites for obtaining reports

To view out-of-the-box change tracking reports, your BMC Server Automation environment must be configured as follows:

  • BMC Decision Support for Server Automation must be installed. For information, see Installing in the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation technical documentation.
  • The ETL process associated with the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation product must be:
    • Scheduled to run after your FIM Snapshot Job
    • Configured to transfer the Snapshot Job result data

The FIM PCI reports appear under the standard Change Tracking folder in the Console. You might want to set up the following optional filters to make it easier to locate the reports:

  • Filter for FIM reports only, and
  • Filter for latest version of each report
