New Rule - Targets

The Targets panel lets you select servers for the rule.

This panel is used when you are creating SOCKS proxy routing rules and Repeater routing rules. If you are creating rules for job execution, see New Rule - Application Servers (job execution).

Select servers for the rule. The number of servers you can select depends on the type of routing rule you are creating:

  • SOCK proxy routing rules - Under Select proxies for this rule, select one or more proxy servers that the matching targets should be routed through. Click the right arrow, which moves your selections to the list on the right.
When you first define a rule, you do not have to specify SOCKS proxy servers; you can specify these servers at a later time. (For information, see Assigning SOCKS proxy servers to a routing rule.) To create the rule without specifying proxy servers, go to the next step.
  • Repeater routing rule - Under Select repeater for this rule, select the repeater to use for indirect staging to target servers. Click the right arrow, which moves your selections to the list on the right.

To remove a server from the selected list, select the server name and click the left arrow.

Click Finish when you have completed server selection.
