Execution Task - Override BLPackage Properties tab

The Override BLPackage Properties panel lets you choose to override local properties of a BLPackage. You can define different property values for use by the Execution Task, and they do not affect the properties defined in the original BLPackage. You can also correlate local BLPackage properties with component properties, so the local BLPackage property is assigned the value of the component property.

Use the following options to override local BLPackage properties in the Execution Task:

Option

Description

Override the following BLPackage properties

Select to enable the override of BLPackage local properties in the Execution Task.

Set property

Select the name of the property to override. To be listed, a local property must be defined as editable in the BLPackage.

Value, Component Property Name, or Auto Map Component Property Name

Select Value to indicate that you are providing an override value for a local BLPackage property. In the next field at right, enter a value for the local property. If necessary, you can assign a value by clicking Select Property (see Inserting a parameter).

Select Component Property Name to indicate that the job should use the value of a component property as the value for the local BLPackage property. In the field at right, select a component property name. Then select Required or Not Required to indicate whether the property is required. For more information on this option, see Deploy Job - Package.

Select Auto Map Component Property Name to indicate that a component property should automatically be mapped to a local BLPackage property. Then select Required or Not Required to indicate whether the property is required. For more information on this option, see Deploy Job - Package. For automatic mapping to occur, the component property name and the local property name on the BLPackage must match exactly.

 + and -
