Add or Edit AO Configuration
This dialog box enables you to provide the basic definitions of a CDP connection to BMC Atrium Orchestrator, which is used in the integration between BMC Server Automation and BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management. This integration enables you to track infrastructure change actions initiated by a BMC Server Automation operator. The dialog box contains the following fields and controls:
IP address or fully-qualified host name of the BMC Atrium Orchestrator CDP server.
Standard communication port, for connection to the primary CDP of BMC Atrium Orchestrator. The default port is 38080.
Name defined for the BMC Atrium Orchestrator grid. Specify the name of a grid only if this is the first defined CDP connection. For additional CDP connections, this field is read-only, as all defined connections must be on the same grid.
Name of the BMC Atrium Orchestrator user used to log on to the CDP. This user must be associated with the ADMIN role in BMC Atrium Orchestrator.
BMC Atrium Orchestrator password for the specified user.
Amount of time, in seconds, before a BMC Server Automation job that connects to BMC Atrium Orchestrator times out. The default is 300 seconds (5 minutes).
Specifies this CDP as the primary instance. In a high-availability environment with multiple CDP instances, ensure that you select the correct CDP, as defined in BMC Atrium Orchestrator. Only one CDP can be set as the primary instance.
Specifies if the connection to the CDP is SSL-enabled and based on an HTTPS connection.
