Modifying the definition of a software package
The procedure for modifying the definition of a software package or hotfix has minor differences from the procedure for defining a new software package or hotfix.

To modify the definition of a software package
- Take any of the following actions:
- To modify the definition of an existing software package or hotfix, open the Depot folder and navigate to an existing software package or hotfix. Right-click the object and select Openfrom the pop-up menu. The content editor displays a tab for the Software Properties Panel, which corresponds to the options on the Add Software panel of the Add Depot Software wizard. For more information about these options, see any of the following:

- Add Depot Software (Hotfix) - Add Software (for hotfixes)
- To see or modify any properties, permissions, or audit trail information that apply to this software package or hotfix, select the Properties, Permissions, or Audit Trail tab group.
- To modify the definition of an existing software package or hotfix, open the Depot folder and navigate to an existing software package or hotfix. Right-click the object and select Openfrom the pop-up menu. The content editor displays a tab for the Software Properties Panel, which corresponds to the options on the Add Software panel of the Add Depot Software wizard.
