Database update for SP2

BMC Server Automation version 8.3 SP2 includes the following Database update:

Database Maintenance Wizard

You can now use the Database Maintenance Wizard to perform an offline cleanup of your database. The wizard is run from an executable file that can be accessed from the <Path to BladeLogic>/NSH/br/dbm-rcp path in the application server. The Turbo cleanup running in the offline mode is a one-time cleanup and does not interfere with the cleanup solution that is already available. Supported DB versions are 8.1.x, 8.2.x, 8.3.x.

The Database Maintenance Wizard is delivered in a phased manner to cover all entities of BMC Server Automation and results in improved performance. You can use this utility to delete data that is older than the retention period, which is defined in the wizard.  For more information on running the database maintenance wizard, see Running the Database Maintenance Wizard (SP2).
