Agent installation updates for SP1

Version 8.3 SP1 includes the following agent updates:

Resolving host-based entries in export file at run time

When the server reboots, the Agent service may start before the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service. In previous versions, host-based entries in the export file could be resolved only at startup time. SP1 supports the Agent in resolving all the host-based entries in the export file at run time, as well. This resolves Agent unreachable errors.

WMI API support added to retrieve processor information

The core processor count for an AMD processor was displayed incorrectly on the UI. To obtain the correct processor information, BMC Server Automation 8.3 SP1 supports the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) API.

Agent service independent of Server service for secure servers

For non-domain controller computers that are secure servers, the Agent service no longer depends on the Server service.
