Viewing status and results of a Microsoft Windows Patching Job

Use the following procedure to monitor a running Microsoft Windows Patching Job and to view the results of the job. Use this procedure for any Windows Patching Job run, whether it was started by the Windows Patching wizard, by the scheduler, or manually.

1. In the console's Folders view, right-click a Windows Patching Job, and select Show Results. The job can be currently executing or completed.
   
   A view for the job appears in the content editor (typically in the top right corner of the console).
2. Right-click the job run object and select Show Log.
   
   A panel opens for the selected job run, displaying the job log in the right panel. You can monitor the messages in the job log for progress and for errors.
