Viewing the job definition of a job run

You can display the definition of a job that has been run. All data displayed in a job definition is read-only.

To display the definition of a job run

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Using the Servers folder, right-click a server and select Browse. Then select the Audit Results or Snapshot Results tab to navigate to a Snapshot or Audit Job. Expand the job to display the job runs.
    • Using the Servers folder, right-click a server and select Browse. Then select the Activity tab to display the job runs.
    • Open the Jobs folder, navigate to a job or Execution Task, right-click the job or Execution Task and select Show Results to display its job runs.

  2. Select a run of a job, right-click, and select Show Job from the pop-up menu. A window displays the job definition that was used to generate the job run.
  3. Select tabs on the window to display different panels of information. For example, you can see the values of job properties on the Properties tab.

    To obtain data about jobs based on a specific job property value, you can also use the exportJobDataByPropertyValue BLCLI command. For more information about this command, see the BLCLI help.
