Cutting and pasting in a BLPackage

Using the BLPackage editor, you can cut and paste objects within a package or between multiple BLPackages.

To cut and paste within a BLPackage

1. In the hierarchy view of the BLPackage editor, select an object. Right-click and select Cut from the pop-up menu.
2. Select the location in a BLPackage where you want to paste.
   If you are pasting files or folders, you can select a location in a file hierarchy. If you are pasting any other kind of object, select the root of the BLPackage.
3. Right-click and select Paste.
   The selected object is pasted into the BLPackage at your current location. The object disappears from the location where you originally cut the object. You can paste repeatedly if necessary.

   Note

   If you cut an object and close the BLPackage without pasting, the object you cut remains in the BLPackage. You are not prompted to save the BLPackage.
