Resource usage of administrative jobs

This topic describes resource usage of BMC Server Automation jobs that perform such administrative tasks as updating server properties, updating entries in a server's user file, and managing Configuration Objects.

Update Server Properties Job

The Update Server Properties Job invokes remote commands to obtain server name, OS type and version, IP address, and so on.

ACL Push Jobs

An ACL Push Job computes a set of entries for the user file on each target and then overwrites the user file (the file in the target's rsc directory whose name is user) with those entries.
