BMC Server Automation documentation conventions
BMC Server Automation uses the following documentation conventions:
- When describing paths, topics use UNIX path separators (forward slashes) except in situations where Windows path separators (back slashes) are specifically required.
- Examples use straight quotes and therefore can be copied into the BMC Server Automation UI or command line. However, a copy and paste of text into a UI field or command line from a source that uses smart quotes (for example, a PDF or a Microsoft Word document) can cause the command to fail. To avoid this problem, copy text from a source that uses the ASCII character set (for example, Notepad).
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
