Managing virtual environments

BMC Server Automation helps IT Operators effectively manage virtual systems in a variety of virtual environments. The following topics provide an overview of the types of management tasks you can perform in a virtual environment, and describe the administration tasks for each supported virtualization platform.

You can also perform ad-hoc management tasks (turn virtual systems/ host servers on or off, and so on) from the BMC Server Automation Console for many virtualization platforms. For more information, see the following topics:
