Deploying to an environment with pool definitions
When you deploy an instance to an environment that contains pools, an additional Pool selection can help to further configure the deployment. The following values are valid for this selection:
Value | Description |
|---|---|
Rolling | Deploys to each pool in order. For each pool, the system runs the virtual resource management, provisioning, deployment, and post-deployment processes before proceeding to the next pool. |
All | Disregards the pool configuration and deploys to all channels (including those not associated with a pool) in the environment as if no pools were defined |
Named Pool | Performs a deployment only to the channels associated with the selected pool |
If any of the bridge resources associated with a pooled channel are virtual resources, the system automatically injects the Remove Servers Action before deploying content to the pool, and the appropriate Return Servers Action after the deployment to the pool but before the deployment to the following pool.
