Icons and images

With the release of the 7. x PATROL Consoles, KMs will supply new icons for the consoles to display. Additionally, KMs will still need to supply the old icons for the 3. x consoles that are still part of PATROL.

The new image requirements not only apply to the traditional icons used to represent objects in PATROL, but BMP images referenced by the PATROL response() function will also be converted to the new format for use in the new 7. x consoles.

The following table describes the PATROL icon guidelines for the different consoles.

Note

For backward compatibility with consoles and hardware and for consistency, all icons are limited to 16 colors.
