Configuring in the TrueSight console

Before you can begin using the PATROL for Light Weight Protocols KM, you must configure it. You can use the information on this topic if you use TrueSight Infrastructure Management 10.5 or later. 

This section provides information about the monitoring profiles and the associated monitor types available in the PATROL for Light Weight Protocols. It also provides instructions on configuring the monitor type by using the TrueSight Console.

ICMP Monitoring profile

This monitoring profile helps you to configure the Ping monitor. ICMP is a monitor type that is enabled for default monitoring. Click the link for information about the monitor type and the attributes associated with it.
