Configuring Printers monitor type
This topic provides information about configuring printer instances for monitoring.
On the Add Monitoring Configuration window, set the following preferences:
Monitoring Solution | Monitor Profile | Monitor Type |

| Microsoft Windows Servers | Printers Operating System | Printers |
Provide the following details:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Exclude Criteria | Enter a comma-separated list of printer instances that you want to exclude from monitoring. For example: printer1,printer2 |
| Include Criteria | Enter a comma-separated list of printer instances that you want to include for monitoring. For example: printer1,printer2 |

Is regex as .* is allowed in the Exclude Criteria of printer

No, regular expressions are not supported in the Include Criteria and Exclude Criteria in Printers configuration.
