TCP Protocols (NT_TCP)
Monitors the rate at which TCP Segments are received and sent. To monitor network protocols, you must have the SNMP service installed.
Note
The TCP Protocols monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_TCP application class in BMC PATROL.
InfoBox
The following information is displayed on the NT_TCP Application InfoBox:
Item | Description |
Icon type | the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter) |
State | the current state of the object |
Application class | name of the application class |
Default user name | the default PATROL user name, if any |
Worst parameter | the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any |
History retention | the length of time history is retained |
NT KM version | the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use |
