Free Space (LDldFreeSpacePercent)

Displays the percentage of free space available on the selected logical disk drive.

 If the /PSX_P4WinSrvs/PWK_PKMforMSWinOS_config/LogicalDiskMonitoring/NonAggregateParamValue variable is set to 1, this parameter will not take the value of the mount points on that particular drive instance.

Applications that write to drives with limited space can cause operating system stress and possible failures. This parameter contains a recovery action that automatically clears the temp directory when LdldFreeSpacePercent enters an alarm state. Recommendations

For drives that are 1 gigabyte (GB) or smaller: If this parameter falls below 5%, you must take some action to provide more free disk space.
To provide more free disk space:

• Delete or move duplicate or unneeded files from the drive. Consider archiving the data before taking these actions.
• Move some of the files to another logical or physical drive.
• Back up the files on the drive, replace the drive with a larger capacity drive, and restore the files to the new drive.

For drives larger than 1 GB: 5% of your disk may be large enough for your needs; therefore, it may be more meaningful to be notified when the number of free megabytes falls below a limit that you determine. Consider using the LDldFreeMegabytes (percentage of free megabytes on the logical disk) parameter rather than LdldFreeSpacePercent.

Default properties
