Jobs Objects (NT_JOBS)
Allows you to enable and disable the monitoring of Windows job objects. In addition, this application allows you to control the resources used by the processes.
Note
The Jobs Objects monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_JOBS application class in BMC PATROL.
This application is a child application of the NT_JOBS_CONTAINER application class.

The following information is displayed on the NT_JOBS InfoBox:
Item | Definition |
Affinity | which processor(s) (CPUs) may be used to run processes for the process group |
Priority | whether the process should run before or after other processes |
Scheduling Class | a scheduling class |
Process Count Limit | maximum number of processes that may be active for the group |
Job CPU Time Limit | CPU usage time limit for the group |
Job Memory Limit | CPU usage time limit for the process |
Per Process CPU Time Limit | maximum amount of memory that can be used by the process group |
Per Process Memory Limit | maximum amount of memory that can be used by a process |
Minimum Working Set | minimum number of pages (in a paging virtual memory system) used by a process during a time interval |
Maximum Working Set | maximum number of pages (in a paging virtual memory system) used by a process during a time interval |
Die on Unhandled Exception | whether a process can end without a warning message when an unhandled exception error occurs |
Allow Silent Process Breakaway | whether a process created by another process within the group can break away from the group |
End Group on Procs Complete | Whether the process group is terminated when all of the processes associated with the group are no longer running |
Break Away OK | whether a child process can break away from the group |
