Jobs Objects (NT_JOBS)

Allows you to enable and disable the monitoring of Windows job objects. In addition, this application allows you to control the resources used by the processes.

Note

The Jobs Objects monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_JOBS application class in BMC PATROL.

This application is a child application of the NT_JOBS_CONTAINER application class.

Per Process CPU Time Limit

maximum amount of memory that can be used by the process group

Per Process Memory Limit

maximum amount of memory that can be used by a process

Minimum Working Set

minimum number of pages (in a paging virtual memory system) used by a process during a time interval

Maximum Working Set

maximum number of pages (in a paging virtual memory system) used by a process during a time interval

Die on Unhandled Exception

whether a process can end without a warning message when an unhandled exception error occurs

Allow Silent Process Breakaway

whether a process created by another process within the group can break away from the group

End Group on Procs Complete

Whether the process group is terminated when all of the processes associated with the group are no longer running

Break Away OK

whether a child process can break away from the group
