SAM (AD_AD_SAM)
Monitors the performance of Security Account Manager (SAM) requests made against the Active Directory server. SAM requests are generated when an NT 4.0 client of a Windows 2000 Active Directory server initiates an account change request. The instance is named SAM.
Note
The SAM monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AD_AD_SAM application class in BMC PATROL.
The AD_AD_SAM application class is active by default. To access the AD_AD_SAM application class, double-click the Active Directory Server icon.

- SAM Create Object Attempt Rate (AdSmCreateObjAttemptRate)
- SAM Create Object Failure Rate (AdSmCreateObjFailureRate)
