Configure Cluster dialog box

Use this dialog box to add, modify, and delete a Microsoft Cluster Server from your environment.

This dialog box is applicable to PATROL Console only.

To access this dialog box, right-click the Microsoft Clusters node and select KM Commands > Configure ClusterThis dialog box contains the following items:

Cluster Name

Enter a cluster name or a comma separated list of clusters for monitoring. A cluster instance(s) will be created with this name below the Microsoft Clusters container.

If you have entered comma separated list of clusters, they must have the same credentials.

For example: hyperclust.abc.com,holoclust.abc.com

User NameEnter the user name to connect to the cluster.
PasswordEnter the password.
Confirm PasswordRe-enter the password for confirmation.
PortEnter the WinRM port number that will be used for communicating with the remote cluster. Default port number is 5985.
Protocol

Select the type of connection protocol. By default, this value is set to HTTP.

AddClick this option for confirming the configuration information that you provided and adding the host to the list of configured hosts.
ModifySelect one of the items that you added to the list in the preceding step, and click this option to modify the details.
RemoveSelect the items added earlier and click this option to delete that item from the list of configured hosts and the clear the details provided in the earlier fields.
ApplyClick to apply the configuration.
CancelClick to close the dialog box.
